$100K Ransom Demand Made for Pleasantville Kidnap Victim. Assailants Came Dressed Like Police.

A 40- year old man of Blitz Village, Pleasantville , was kidnapped on Saturday at around 11am at his parents’ house. A ransom demand of $100,000 has been demanded for his safe return. The man, Clint Beharry was reportedly taken by two men who were armed with guns. The assailants had reportedly been dressed in clothing resembling TTPS uniforms.

News Power Now understands that the men robbed the family of $14,000 cash and an undisclosed amount of jewelry before placing handcuffs on Beharry and escorting him out of the house, which is also the location of the family’s business, Born Free Recreation Club.

An escape was made in a silver Nissan AD wagon- license plate number PBD 8788. Beharry is a witness in a robbery attempt in which his brother was murdered. That trial is presently underway.

Southern Division police are investigating the kidnapping, in collaboration with the Anti Kidnapping Unit.
