The former Minister accused the present Minister of dismantling programmes within the education system that would have aided with the issues now facing the school system.

Yesterday, Minister Anthony Garcia met with the Principal, teachers and pupils of Ste. Madeline Secondary school and it was assured that an investigation would be launched into the incident which saw students throw bottles at teachers who had been conducting a silent protest during their lunch hour, outside of the school compound. TTUTA has since stated it will stand in solidarity with its members amid talk from the Education Minister that students and teachers would be penalized.
