Acting Assistant Superintendent says an increase in theft of high power tools at construction sites has become a growing cause for concern

said an increase in larceny of heavy duty tools has become a growing concern for the service.

ASP Pierre is advising construction site workers across both Islands not to leave their power tools
unattended while working, as this is an open invitation for sticky hands.

Officer Pierre also said persons who may have purchased the stolen tools will be investigated and warned
that the TTPS has developed a zero tolerance for such actions.
