The issue of alleged irregularities within the Agricultural Development Bank will be at the top of their new board’s priority list.
This is according to Senator Clarence Rambharat – Minister of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries.
He made the comments in an interview this morning.
The Minister stated that he has had ongoing meetings with senior management of the bank.
According to him, the new board will be given clear mandates by the government.
He also disclosed that the new board would have to look closely at bank policies, to ascertain if loans processes were carried out according to those policies.
