This has been the question asked by many citizens in this country, especially in light of the killings that continue to be carried out with seeming increased confidence by its perpetrators.

A number of murders and shootings marred this past weekend including that of a 19 year old boy and infamous businessman RoboCop.

Lt Commander of the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard Kirk Jean Baptiste revealed that T&T’s borders are being constantly patrolled.

Speaking on the Power Breakfast Morning Show on Power 102.1 m today, he revealed that the patrols take place on a daily basis.

    The mighty Trinifeak 2 years

Kirk Baptiste knows he cannot believe his own words. Private speedboats are much faster than those ancient boats which belong to the coast guard. The coast guards are unable to prevent any illegal entry of T&T. Perpetrators from Venezuela can enter T&T as they want. Nobody can stop them. Weapons and drugs can enter T&T easily on speedboats arriving at Chatham. Mr. Baptiste has a well paid job and a nice uniform. However, this coast guard service is a border for the taxpayer and good for nothing because these people lack the equipment and the training to prevent illegal entry of people, drugs and weapons.
