Former Chairman of the Education Facilities Company Limited, Arnold Piggot is insisting that action was taken during his stint at the state entity to address corrupt practices.
Mr. Piggot made the comment as past members of the EFCL Board appeared before a meeting of the Joint Select Committee of Parliament today.
Earlier this year Mr. Piggott tendered his resignation from EFCL, citing the need to protect his reputation and that of his family.
The former EFCL senior official said when he took up leadership position in October 2015 the board discovered what it calls questionable and improper procedures.
