Injured are 60-year-old Leo Doyle and 68-year-old Keith Lake.
The men were liming with a group of friends at a bar located on the corner of Piccadilly Street and Duke Street when the shooting took place.
According to police reports, at about 8am a blue Nissan B13 pulled up in front of the bar and three occupants of the vehicle came out.
After a confrontation with members of the group, the men reportedly pulled out their firearms and fired several shots. They then escaped in the waiting vehicle.
Several patrons dropped to the floor but arose to find the men bleeding.
Both Doyle and Lake were rushed to the POS General Hospital where they were treated for their injuries.
A team of officers from the Besson Street Police Station visited the scene and recovered several spent shells.
Investigations into the shooting are continuing.
