Despite a heavy police presence in the Beetham Gardens residents on Monday stage a massive protest over the shooting death of Christopher Greaves.
On Sunday, the 23 year old father of two was allegedly shot by police after he reportedly ran when they attempted to arrest him.
He was shot multiple times in the back and collapsed in an alleyway.
Resident, claiming that police officers showed no mercy, even after Greaves was shot and needed medical attention, on Sunday blocked the Beetham Highway and Bus Route in protest.
After the debris was cleared away, residents promised they would disrupt traffic on Monday, when the new school term reopened.
Speaking with News Power Now during fresh protest action on Monday, Anthony Wilson, brother of Activist and Power 102.1fm talk show host, Sherma Wilson, criticized senior police officers for not meeting with resident Monday morning to help quell the tension in the area.
Wilson meantime, denied that residents were throwing missiles at passing vehicles.
