Workers at the Board of Inland Revenue are continuing industrial action today.
Yesterday the workers were instructed by the Public Services Association to leave the building.
PSA President Watson Duke cited health and safety concerns as the reason for the action.
At a media briefing held at the union’s headquarters, Mr. Duke stated that several workers have been displaying health challenges because of the situation.
This morning the PSA Head revealed that the workers are continuing to exercise their rights.
He articulated that efforts to contact the Chairman of the Board of Inland Revenue on the issue proved futile.
