This was sparked following calls in Jamaica for goods and services from this country to be boycotted.
The position was pushed for after allegations that several Jamaicans were mistreated and refused entry by local immigration officials.
However, Dr. Balgobin in a News Power Now interview afternoon said from feedback he has received trading ties between both nations continue to go well.
