Cabinet focused today on several serious issues affecting development and economic growth in Tobago.
They improving air transportation between the islands, boosting marketing and promotion on the tourism brand, implementing measures address declining occupancy levels at the state funded Magdelena Grand Hotel and tackle water challenges.
Prime Minister, Dr. Keith Rowley, speaking at the weekly post cabinet media briefing this afternoon said on the area of air transportation, it was agreed that urgent discussions take place with the relevant stake holders and corrective steps put in place.
Dr Rowley explained that there will be a review of marketing arrangements used by the Tourism Development Corporation.
