Do not lose faith in the police service.
This is the plea from Vice President of the Chinese Mutual Support Association Darren Huang.
The comment comes amid news that the police officer charged with robbing a Chinese national of over 400 thousand dollars has been granted 250 thousand dollar bail.
PC Sean Joseph however will remain in custody until Monday when he will appear before Port of Spain Magistrate to answer ammunition charges, arising out of the same incident.
In a televised interview this morning Huang pleaded with the Chinese Community to have faith in the police service despite the robbery of the Chinese businessman allegedly by police officers.
