Citizens can seek a tax waiver from Board of Inland Revenue should their current vehicle shipments not meet the May 20 moratorium on luxury vehicle tax deadline.

The update comes from Finance Minister Colm Imbert.

He made the revelation while speaking in the Senate this week on an order to effect the 50 per cent increase on tax on luxury vehicles.

Meanwhile, Opposition Senator, Wade Mark, during his contribution to the proceedings raised concerns with the introduction of the moratorium.

    I have been listening to all the Radio and Television Stations in Trinidad and callers are calling in by the dozens saying that you are not only foolish and stupid but you are a complete ASS I Did not say that it is the callers.If that is so then you should not be in Parliament but should be in the Zoo with the other ASSES.
