Citizens warned to brace for severe dry season in 2016.

Dry TapsCitizens are being warned to brace for a severe dry season next year. The caution comes from climatologist, Kenneth Kerr.

Speaking at the recently held dry season national climate outlook forum held in Tobago, the Trinidad and Tobago Met Office official explained that the El Nino event is forecasted to be a challenging one and the country will feel the impact of this.

Mr Kerr said citizens can expect warmer temperatures and below normal rainfall which can impact on the country’s water resource, agriculture and the tourism industry.
