Concerns Raised By Police Welfare Association As Key Positions Remain Unfilled

Concerns are being raised by the Police Social and Welfare Association about the absence of a Chairman and Director at the Police Service Commission and the Police Complaints Authority respectively.

In August this year Professor Ramesh Deosaran resigned as a member and chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC)

On September 3rd Gillian Lucky tendered her resignation as head of the Police Complaints Authority.

In a News Power Now interview on Tuesday, Police Social and Welfare Association President, Inspector Anand Ramesar, said it is critical that suitable persons are selected to fill the two key positions.
