Contractors Association reports better days

The Contractors Association of Trinidad and Tobago is reporting that the industry is picking up momentum.

Officials in the sector have revealed that the sector has been adversely affected by a slowdown of construction activity with some contractors forced to lay off workers or close operations.

However, Ramlogan Roopnarinesingh, CATT President, in a News Power Now interview this afternoon said there are signs of renewed development in the sector which is an encouraging feature.

Mr Roopnarinesingh noted that the group is finalizing a symposium to be held soon where contractors can highlight challenges they face and also put forward recommendations.
