The status of monies owed to state contractors remains in the balance.

President of the Trinidad and Tobago Contractors Association, Mikey Joseph, this morning told News Power Now, that efforts to meet

with Minister Of Finance, Colm Imbert, have so far proven futile.

Commenting on the matter, former Works and Infrastructure Minister and Tabaquite MP, Dr. Surujrattan

Rambachan said the government has shut down the country, something the People’s Partnership

government would never have done.

He lamented that the present government was given the opportunity to borrow $50 billion dollars,

however to date, nothing has been done. He said the Keith Rowley led administration does not have a
plan.
