Senior School Social Worker for Port-of-Spain and Environs Nathalie Robinson -Arnold, says students of the Morvant \Laventille Secondary School are being counselled following the tragic death of their schoolmate, 15-year- old Joshua Andrews.
Andrews was shot and his body burnt while in a “PH” taxi on his way home from school on Monday along Trou Macaque Road, Laventille.
The driver of the car was also shot and burnt when his car came under attack.
In an interview with reporters, Mrs. Robinson –Arnold said the relevant assessments are taking place.
Permanent Secretary in the Education Ministry, Lenor Baptiste-Simmons, said the school has been indentifed as one where greater emphasis is being placed especially in light of the challenges facing the area.
