The Executive and Membership of the San Fernando East Constituency is expressing displeasure in what they describe as having there voice silenced in the parliament, through the suspension of their MP, Patrick Manning.
In a statement issued late last night the executives said the unwarranted denial of Mr. Manning’s right to a proper process of representation and hearing, is a clear indication of blatant dictatorial actions of the dysfunctional UNC lead coalition.
The statement said it was unfortunate that the only option the government can find in an attempt to create a smoke screen to change the headlines, was to suspend Mr. Manning.
Meanwhile, members of the public have agreed with the ruling of house speaker, Wade Mark.
Newspower Authority spoke with citizens in Port of Spain this morning.
Many believed the ruling was justified.
