Students who sat the Secondary Entrance Assessment came in for commendation from the Education Minister recently.
He revealed that 91 percent of students scored above the pass mark of 50 percent with just 1 percent scoring under 30 percent.
He disclosed that this was a great improvement over previous years.
He also addressed parents’ concerns of the criteria to place students at various schools.
He disclosed that various components determine whether or not a student gets placed in a school of his/her choice.
