EMA officials access bulldozed lands at Pineapple Smith Lands

Pineapple fields 1 Officials of the Environmental Authority and Ministry of Food Production and Land and Marine Resources, yesterday visited a site in Pineapple Smith Lands in Dabadie…

This comes one week after farms lands in this area were bulldozed.

Word is the officials were there to see how much damage was done to farmer’s crops and measure the land where the produce was destroyed.

They are yet to tally the compensation for the farmers but farmers are concerned about misleading information over lands bulldozed.

Meantime, Representative of Crescent Gardens which borders with the farm lands Kenwyn Pilgrim says housing and farming can coincide as a result of the quantity of land available.
