The family of 14-year-old Shaniya McKenna is still seeking the assistance of the public in locating her after she went missing on Saturday.
McKenna was last seen at her grandmother’s house at Roberts Lane extension in Point Fortin around 6:00 pm on Saturday, wearing a striped dress.
However, an hour later the teen was spotted on the streets wearing a white top, blue three-quarter jeans with a black shoes and pink school bag.
McKenna, who attend the Point Fortin Servol Life Centre, is of afro-Trinidadian descent, with short black hair and a mole of her chin.
McKenna’s mother, Donna Joseph, said she had taken her to the San Fernando Teaching Hospital on Friday for a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) test, after she was hit by a vehicle last year.

A 15 year old Tranquility Government Secondary school student is reported missing.
Curtis Pierre, a resident of Upper Valley Road, Cascade, was last seen leaving Union Village, Claxton Bay where he went to visit his mother at around 2:15pm on Sunday.
The boy’s mother, Kindra Commissiong reported the teen missing Tuesday.
Pierre is a second form student of Tranquility and is said to be slim built, 6-feet tall, of African origin, with a short haircut. He was last seen wearing a navy blue fisherman’s hat, grey T-shirt, black pants, black shoes, and holding a Jansport book bag.
