Farmers claimed they were pushed against a wall

Sheraz Khan President of the Sheep and Goat Farmers Association, Shiraz Khan meantime, claims farmers were pushed against the wall, when they accepted government’s compensation and relocation offer.

This morning on CNC3 he explained in their first meeting with officials they were against relocation, but had agreed to explore compensation, and alternative sites

However, Mr. Khan said when farmers realised the lands bulldozed did not belong to the Housing Development Corporation, they tried to use this as grounds for negotiations, but were told any case against government would only prove bad for farmers.
