The Finance Minister’s lack of interest in diversifying the economy, has come in for harsh scrutiny, by Former Planning Minister and Economist, Mary King.
Ms. King says she is appalled by the Minister’s Monday night remarks on CNC3 on the issue. She noted that the global outlook for increased oil and gas prices, in the future, is uncertain.
Ms. King was speaking during a News Power Now interview this morning.
She said if Minister Imbert is incapable of finding ways to avert from T&T’s complete dependence on oil and gas, he should resign.
