Former Attorney General and Attorney at Law, Ramesh Lawrence Maharaj said that Ministers making comments that Jack Warner should surrender are inconsistent with the Laws and Constitution of Trinidad and Tobago.

Speaking with the Power Breakfast Show on power102fm, Maharaj said that there is a process by which the courts have to take regarding the extradition of the Chaguanas West MP.

Mr. Maharaj went on by saying that is it frightening and undemocratic for a Prime Minister and a Minister of Legal Affairs to call for a person to surrender without the opportunity of proving themselves innocent.
