Funeral for National Joint Action Committee founder Makandal Daaga, will take place on Saturday.

The funeral for founder of the National Joint Action Committee (NJAC) the late Geddes Granger better known as Makandal Daaga, will take place on Saturday.

The service will begin at 9 am and will be held at the Queens Park Savannah, Port of Spain.

Mr Daaga died at the Port of Spain General Hospital on Monday, as a result of complications from a virus.

He had initially been hospitalized after reportedly suffering a minor stroke and seizures.

Mr Daaga would have turned 81 on Saturday.

A condolence book has been opened for him at NJAC office, Duke Street, Port of Spain.

    To the people who designed the black power symbol that is pictured behind Mr.Daaga nobody notice that the thumb is on the wrong side of he hand you can see the error by just looking at Mr.Daaga hand are we that backwards?
