Government tells the parliament of plans to build a facility to accommodate socially displaced persons in the Capital City

Social Development and Family Services Minister, Cherrie-Ann Crichlow-Cockburn, said land for the project has been located but the venture may take about three years to be completed.

However, the Minister in the parliament Monday assured that there are plans in the interim to address the development.

Minister Crichlow-Cockburn admitted that there is need for greater effort to treat mentally ill and social displaced individuals.
