Yesterday morning Dr. Ramroop met with all relevant respondents of the June 14 fuel tanker accident in Gasparillo…

According to an ODPM media release…the meeting took place at the ODPM’s Tacarigua office…it  addressed among other things the responsiveness of responders, adherence to standard operating procedures, importance of the incident command system approach……public awareness and communication…….evacuation of the area, and site recovery.

Among those present were representatives of the Trinidad and Tobago….Fire Service, Police Service, Ministry of Works and Transport…..and the Disaster Management Unit….
