The government is of the view that there should be a review of how the Heritage and Stabilization is used.
Finance Minister, Colm Imbert, made the suggestion while wrapping up his contribution during the recent Budget Debate in the Senate.
In 2007 the Heritage and Stabilization Fund was set up.
It’s a means to save and invest any surplus of petroleum revenues that exceeded budgeted projections.
Minister Imbert said in the past some recommendations have been made in terms of reviewing how the fund is utilized.
