Members of the Trucker’s and Trader’s Association are once again speaking out on issues which continue to plague their operations due to the lack of reliable inter-island cargo and fast ferry services.
News Power Now spoke with Samuel Applewhite, Secretary of the Association last week, who indicated that the Association had intended to adhere to the request of the Port Authority of Trinidad and Tobago; to remain patient for a while longer until a solution could be found in the following week.
However, when our newsroom spoke with Mr Applewhite again yesterday, it was revealed that the situation has worsened.
He stated that members the Association are fed up as this is the worst that issues affecting the sea bridge have ever been.
He questioned why members of the board of the PATT cannot seem to get it right by now.
