The crime situation that is presently gripping Trinidad and Tobago is not irreversible it can change if the right steps are taken.
These are the comments from former National Security Minister Gary Griffith.
He stated that if the present administration did what was necessary by putting policies in place the crime situation could turn around.
He was speaking on the Power Breakfast Show on Power 102.1 fm this morning.
Griffith expressed confidence that the new National Security Minister was up to the task of dealing with the escalating crime situation.
The former National Security Minister further revealed that it would be unfair to blame the present administration for the increase in violent crime since they have only been in office for two months.
