While there is a lack of sufficient funding, the judiciary has plans to enter the age of modern technology and it will soon launch on social media.
Chief Justice Ivor Archie, speaking at the opening of the new law term yesterday, announced that the judiciary will connect with the public on face book, twitter and Instagram.
While the Chief Justice called for reform and modernization to effectively arrest how slowly cases pass through the courts, he revealed that mobile apps will soon be at the tip of our fingers.
He also called for reforms in the release of funds.
As cases continue to linger in court, modernization will help ease the problem.
Justice Archie lamented the fact that attorneys were guilty of dragging out matters, wasting time and resources.
He promised a transformation of the litigation landscape beginning 2015.
