Law Association considers motion of no confidence in the Chief Justice today

As the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago moves today to consider a motion before it which would call for a vote of no confidence in the Chief Justice, some of its members are calling this move premature, but others are insisting that the question is whether or not confidence in the CJ and in the Judicial and Legal Service Commission which he heads, has not already been eroded.

And the Trinidad and Tobago Transparency Institute says the matter revolves around the issue of Transparency and Accountability.
