Documentation relating to the legal matter against former Petrotrin President, Malcolm Jones, is passed on to the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago.
Confirmation of the development comes from Attorney General, Faris Al Rawi.
He made the revelation during proceedings in the parliament.
Recently the state-owned energy company discontinued its case against Mr. Jones.
The case was brought against Mr. Jones by former Attorney General, Anand Ramlogan, for negligence over the firm’s low sulphur diesel plant.
Mr. Al Rawi said he has nothing to hide concerning this issue and has responded to the request of the Law Association.
Questioned by the Opposition Leader on whether he is willing to carry out a similar gesture to the Integrity Commission, the Attorney General said if asked he will comply with the request.
