Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teachers Association is agreeing that there needs to be consultation when it comes to sex education in schools.
New TTUTA President Lindlsey Doodhai says that the prevalence of pregnancy among this country’s teenage girls is unacceptable.
It was recently reported that on average, every year in Trinidad and Tobago, about 2,500 hundred teenaged girls become pregnant by men who are much older than they are, some of them in their 30’s or 40’s.
Speaking to News Power Now this morning Doodhai revealed that this was serious cause for concern.
