As the September 7th election race comes to a closed, political meetings increased this week with meetings being held in various parts of the country.
Last evening PNM Opposition Leader, Dr. Keith Rowley and his candidates were in Sangre Grande.
Speaking to the large sea of red, Dr. Rowley promised that if elected the current CEPEP program would stay, however, it would only be for those in which it was intended for.
The Opposition Leader assured his supporters that under the PNM Government there would be major changes in the reformation of local government.
Dr. Rowley further explained that draft documents are ready for local government experts for them to treat with the reform and changeover of local government.
