Tough talking Port of Spain South Member of Parliament, Marlene Mc Donald, says she is not troubled by increased attention coming from other political parties in the traditionally People’s National Movement stronghold constituency.
Last week, Prime Minister, Kamla Persad-Bissessar, met with East Port of Spain residents at South East Secondary School to hear firsthand, their many concerns on issues such as crime, unemployment and housing.
Over the weekend, Independent Liberal Party Interim political leader, Jack Warner, held a walkabout in the constituency.
Speaking with News Power Now on the issue, Mc Donald said she was not worried with the heightened focus coming from other parties.
She said her constituency is in need of sustainable programmes and projects and not quick fix measures.
