The Meteorological service of Trinidad and Tobago has stated that over the next few hours Trinidad and Tobago will continue to experience cloudy to overcast conditions with periods of rain and showers.
The Authority warned citizens that some for these are expected to be moderate to heavy and will be accompanied by strong winds lightning and thunder.
Gusty winds are expected in the vicinity of heavy showers and thunder showers and there may also be localized street and flash flooding in heavy or prolonged downfalls.
Landslides and landslips may be experienced in areas so prone.
Persons in affected areas are advised to be alert to the possibility of roofs being blown off by the strong winds and or electrical discharges from thunder clouds.
The authority also advised that Trinidad and Tobago is not presently under any tropical storm threat, watch or warning.
