Drivers are being told to behave sensibly and to not abuse alcohol and then get behind the wheel on the nation’s roads.
This message came from the Minister of Works Fitzgerald Hinds yesterday.
He made the comments as he addressed reporters at the M2 Ring Road.
The roadway has become popular for the amount of fatal accidents that has occurred on it.
Minister Hinds gave the public the assurance that the Ministry would continue to do all it could, in terms of the general preparation and readiness of roads for use.
Preparations would include added signage and improvements to road surfaces, but motorists however, were reminded of their individual responsibilities to respect and obey road laws.
