There is concern that trust issues have been raised regarding the alleged drug find at the Prime Minister’s residence in 2013.
Last evening at a People’s National Movement Meeting in Belmont, Opposition leader Dr. Keith Rowley shared concerns that the story initially given seems to have changed.
He stated that initial reports indicated that the 4 ounces of marijuana had been discovered on a window sill of a bedroom of the Prime Minister’s house.
However subsequent reports placed the find in the men’s toilet of the Gazebo at the Prime Minister’s property.
Leader of the Movement for Social Justice David Abdullah also claimed that the story has left many questions unanswered in the minds of citizens.
He made the comment in an interview with news Power Now this morning.
He claimed that this information left the citizens of Trinidad and Tobago with little idea as to who to trust.
