Marijuana with a street value of forty-five million dollars is discovered by police officers attached to the North Eastern Division Task Force.
Public Information Officer of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service, Acting Inspector, Wayne Mystar, gave the update at the weekly news briefing held at the Police Administration Building , Sackville Street, Port of Spain, on Wednesday.
He said the discovery was made by the officers who carried out an exercise on Tuesday in the Santa Cruz area.
Mr Mystar also said that in another police exercise in the Northern Division six persons were arrested for narcotics possession including a woman. They will appear in court this week.
