National Security remains in focus as a former Minister says it is too early to blame the new Government

Minister of National Security, Retired Brigadier General Edmund Dillon in his response to Dr. Fuad Khan on the increase of murders over the weekend, said that now is not the time politicize serious matters.
Speaking with the media at the Heads of Divisions of National Security at the Ministry’s office at Temple Court, Port -of -Spain yesterday the Minister said that the country’s national security plans are well on its way and will be revealed soon.

Chiming in on the importance of working hand in hand with the Commissioner of Police, Minister Dillon said that dealing with crime means understanding the dealings of the underworld.

The current murder toll in Trinidad and Tobago is 318.
