The College of Science Technology and Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago today saw the appointment of its new Board of Trustees.
According to the College Act, the President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago appoints eleven members as Trustees of the Tertiary Institution.
Minister of Education Anthony Garcia conducted the official handing over of instruments of appointments to the members of the Board. The letters were delivered this morning at the Ministry’s Head Office in St Clair.
President of COSTAATT Dr Gillian Paul thanked Minister Garcia and the Government for their continued support of the College which celebrates it fifteenth anniversary this year.
Minister in the Ministry of Education Dr Lovell Francis was also in attendance and shared his appreciation for the significant change that the College has brought about in the sphere of tertiary education.
