Ready to deal with the challenges ahead and ensure quality work, this is the outlook coming from the new Chairman of the Education Facilities Company Limited Ricardo Vasquez.
Mr Vasquez was the Vice Chairman under the Arnold Piggot-led Board of Directors.
Mr Piggot resigned as Chairman of the EFCL Board of Directors last Friday citing family commitments and “the protection of my reputation and family name”.
The new EFCL Board members were announced by Anthony Garcia Education Minister at a media conference held at the Education Towers, St. Vincent Street, Port-of-Spain today.
The new Board members are as follows: Ricardo Vasquez- Chairman, Clyde Permell, Dean Burgen, Cedric Neptune, Marvin Gonzales and Imamuddin Baksh.
Mr Vasquez said he is focused on delivering quality in all aspects of the EFCL’s operations.
Meanwhile, the EFCL is being urged to ensure that the schools repair programme is completed on time.
Anthony Garcia Education Minister says he has been assured by the EFCL that upgrade work will be completed before the resumption of classes in September.
He was speaking at the announcement of the new EFCL Board at a media briefing held at the Education Towers, St. Vincent Street, Port-of-Spain today.
