One week after one of the most “nail biting” general elections that citizens of Trinidad and Tobago have witnessed, analyst are still giving views about the results.
Nigel Henry Lead Analyst CEO of Solution by Simulation spoke with the Power Breakfast Show this morning on Power 102.1fm, in an effort to shed some light on the results of the 2015 general elections.
According to Mr. Henry the results showed that supporters of the People’s National Movement voted more in the PNM’s “strong holds” than that of the UNC.
Mr. Henry further stated that according to the results at the polls it is evident that persons who would have previously voted for the United National Congress (UNC), voted in this year’s election for the People’s National Movement (PNM)
Asked whether he thought persons who would have voted for the COP, voted for the PNM, Mr. Henry said that though the COP contested fewer seats it was evident that the COP’s remaining votes would have gone to the PNM.
