Senior Counsel Reginald Armour has retained his position as President of the Law Association.
The post of Vice President was also retained by Gerry Brooks.
This after a Motion of No Confidence against the two men collapsed on Monday afternoon.
President of the Law Association revealed that 25 financial members were required to sign a petition to call for a special meeting.
He said that one was found not to be a financial member and another 13 wrote letters revealing that they had been misled.
He further disclosed that instead of voting on the motion the majority of the members voted to abort the meeting.
One of the movers of the Motion, Wayne Sturge, said he was successful in embarrassing the Head of the Association into speaking out on the SSA Bill.
Meanwhile Senior Council Israel Khan told the media that political forces had caused a split in the Association.
