The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management (ODPM) is inviting all to participate in the agency’s “Exercise Turbulence 2016” initiative to evaluate how prepared citizens are to respond to emergencies and disasters.
The initiative, which is being conducted today, is part of the ODPM’s strategic approach in assessing the effectiveness of Trinidad and Tobago’s National Response Framework in times of disasters.
The aim of Exercise Turbulence 2016 is to test the preparedness of the country when impacted by the natural hazards to which the nation is most vulnerable.
The ODPM wishes to advise the public that anyone wishing to register and accept the challenge can send your contact information to [email protected].
The challenge has two (2) options: you can choose to make a plan or build a kit sending your pictures or videos of your kit or plan to the ODPM’s Gmail account provided above.
