Politicians have been told not to allow egos and differences to hinder Tobago’s push for self-governance.
Tobago House of Assembly Chief Secretary , Orville London , underscored the point at a news briefing held this week following the latest round of discussions on autonomy for the sister isle.
Meanwhile, political leader of the Tobago Organisation of the People, Ashworth Jack, confirmed to News Power Now that he did not attend the meeting.
Earlier this year, Mr. Jack cited urgent family matters as his reason for not being able to attend talks on the issue.
Mr. London confirmed there will be more public consultations both in Tobago and Trinidad.
