Pan Trinbago is complimenting the various steel bands, which complied with measures agreed upon to ensure a smoother flow and running of the National Panorama semi-finals at the Queen’s Park Savannah.
President of Pan Trinbago, Keith Diaz, in a News Power Now interview said this year, there was a record improvement in terms of the length of time bands stayed on the stage and completion of the competition.
Mr. Diaz said he was not in a position to give an exact figure on the turnout of patrons.
BPTT Renegades is in the lead, heading into the Panorama finals. They scored 282 points for their performance of “Year For Love”, arranged by Duvone Stewart. Desperadoes, also playing “Year For Love”, moved up to second place, having placed fifth in the preliminaries with their rendition of the tune arranged by Carlton “Zanda” Alexander.
