One parent who spoke to News Power Now said the school officials were to meet with the Minister of Education, Dr. Tim Goopsesingh and he never showed now they say their only and last resort for assistance is protest
Students of Lower Morvant Government Primary school are currently using Church on the Rock, for the past three years. The frustrated parents said fees for use of the school have also not been paid.

The Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teachers Association has revealed that they were aware of the planned protest by the parents of the students of the Lower Morvant Government Primary School since yesterday.
TUTTA President Devanand Sinanan explained that the parents were “fed up” with the present situation at the school and wanted the Ministry to stop dragging its feet on the rebuilding of the Institution.
He made the comments in an interview with News Power Now this morning.
The TTUTTA President acknowledged that there were some major security challenges with regard to work being done on the school.
However he stated that during meetings between TTUTA and the Education Ministry on the issue, the Ministry was advised to provide extra security for those charged with responsibility of working on the School.
